Lebanon sets new record low for consumer confidence in 2020's Q3

(MENAFN) Owing to the complications of the Beirut Port explosion and a likely lifting of sponsorship on basic goods, customer trust in Lebanon decreased to its lowest levels during the period from July to September this year.

The confidence has been also affected by the absence of urgency sense on the part of political parties in terms of the new government foundation, in spite of the rising socio-economic challenges.

Representatives have failed for three months to form a new government capable of ruling resolutions to the economic catastrophe even though Lebanon began a two-week general lockdown on Saturday to halt the growing COVID-19 cases, falling the socio-economic conditions in the state.
