    Turkey’s benchmark stock index increases 0.63 percent

    (MENAFN)On Wednesday, Turkey’s benchmark stock index recorded high all day, increasing 0.63 percent to close at 1,559.28 points.

    Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index recorded 9.75 points over Tuesday’s close of 1,549.53 points, starting the day at 1,559.77 points.

    The index averaged amid 1,545.26 and 1,567.88 points, in the day.

    By market close, the total market amount of the BIST 100 was about 1.1 trillion Turkish liras (USD156 billion, with a daily trading rate of 36.7 billion Turkish liras (USD5 billion).
