    Cargo, mail shipped by Turkish Airlines carries increase 30.9 percent in June 2021

    (MENAFN)A statement sent to Turkey's Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) showed that Turkey's national flag carrier held 3.6 million passengers in last month.

    Before the Coronavirus pandemic broke out, the number decreased 6.6 million passengers in June 2019.

    According to official data, the passenger seat occupancy amounted at 68.3 percent in June. This was 66.3 percent on domestic flights and 78.5 percent on international flights.

    Turkish Airlines' cargo and mail carried this June increased by 30.9 percent to 162,180 tons versus 123,890 tons in June 2019.
