    Gold mining investment fund to manage assets valued at USD1.4B by Egyptian billionaire

    (MENAFN)La Mancha Holding S.a.r.l, owned by the Sawiris family, declared the creation of La Mancha Fund SCSp, a Luxembourg-based billiom-dollar investment fund primarily concentrated on gold mining.

    The fund is going to manage assets valued at USD1.4 billion and is studying new opportunities, the company added.

    The first closing of the fund was end with the receipt of all the gold mining assets of La Mancha, as well as an investment of USD100 million from a partner who is going to invest alongside the Sawiris family, the company added.

    The fund is going to be available to other investors at a later time.
