    Turkey's benchmark stock index ends Wednesday down at 1.44 percent

    (MENAFN)On Wednesday, Turkey's benchmark stock index ended the day at 1,433.85 points, dropped 1.44 percent from the last close.

    Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index decreased 20.89 points from Tuesday's end of 1,454.74 points, after opening the day at 1,455.18 points.

    The index's lowest rate in the day stood at 1,432.54 points, as its daily high reached 1,457.27 points.

    by market close, the total amount of the BIST 100 stood at 1.08 trillion Turkish liras (USD130.4 billion), with a daily trading rate of almost 13.08 billion Turkish liras (USD1.55 billion).
