    Turkey's economic confidence index marks highest level since April 2018

    (MENAFN)According to Turkey's statistical institute, the country’s economic confidence index recorded the highest level since April 2018 by improving 1.6 percent month-on-month to 102.4 in September.

    TurkStat data further declared that the improvement halted from increases in consumer, real sector, services and retail trade confidence indices.

    An optimistic outlook for the general economic situation is considered when the value above 100 while a value below 100 points is a pessimistic one.


    The institute's data showed that the economic confidence index stood at 103 in April 2018.

    The sub-index for retail trade confidence witnessed the largest improvement in the month by 4.8percent amounting at 115.6 versus August.
