    Turkish economy marks 48.1 percent increase in total turnover in August

    (MENAFN)According to Turkey's statistical authority, the country’s economy witnessed a 48.1 percent increase in the total income in August on a yearly basis.

    The Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) figures declared that the index witnessed the biggest change in the services sector, increased 66.9 percent annual in August.

    The industry sector posted a yearly increase of 56.7 percent, as the trade and construction indices rose 39.1 percent and 36.8 percent, respectively.

    The seasonally and calendar-altered total turnover index in the same month increased 4 percent.
    The term "calendar-adjusted" is used to refer to data without calendar or holiday-originating effects.
