    Iran’s trade with members of Economic Cooperation Organization reaches USD7.255B

    (MENAFN)According to the spokesman of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Iran’s trade with the members of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) amounted at USD7.255 billion in the first half of the current Iranian year to mark a 60 percent improvement annual.

    IRNA quoted Rouhollah Latifi as saying that the rate of trade with the stated countries also rose by 67 percent compared to the last year same time span.

    Iran traded about 15.307 million tons of goods with ECO member countries including Turkey, Afghanistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan in the stated time span.

    Latifi further declared that the Islamic Republic exported over 12.878 million tons of goods valued at USD4.555 billion to the mentioned nations in the stated period, marking 98 percent and 81 percent surge in terms of weight and value, respectively.
