    Iran plans to boost non-oil exports to neighboring countries

    (MENAFN)The current Iranian government put the growth of trade with the neighboring countries at the top of priorities, according to Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.

    Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi further declared that the development of trade with the neighbors and countries of the region is a main concern of the foreign policy of the 13th government, and a suitable mechanism was designed and implemented in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to pursue and implement this policy.

    Moreover; one of the major plans that the Iranian government has been pursuing in recent years is to boost non-oil exports to the neighboring countries.

    Iran shares land or water borders with 15 countries namely UAE, Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, and Saudi Arabia.
