    Egypt aims to invest USD1.45B billion for sustainable local development

    (MENAFN)In the financial year 2021/2022, Egypt is aiming to invest 22.9 billion Egyptian pounds (USD1.45 billion) for sustainable local development.

    According to Egyptian minister of planning, Hala Al-Saeed, it is part of the country’s efforts to accomplish the goals foresaw in Egypt’s Vision 2030.

    Al-Saeed further declared that the ministry wants to pay attention on the development of all governorates and pursues to improve an indicator to regulate the comparative and competitive advantage of each governorate in the country.

    Furthermore; a total of 7.66 billion Egyptian pounds were owed to the development of roads and bridges, according to a report published by the ministry. Another key target is the development and enhancing of electricity networks across the country followed by environmental programs.
