    Iran: Average housing price drops 0.2 percent in capital Tehran

    (MENAFN)A report by the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) showed that average housing price dropped 0.2 percent in the capital Tehran in the seventh Iranian month (ended on October 22), in comparison to its previous month.

    IRIB quoted the CBI data as declaring that the average price for one square meter of a residential unit in Tehran reached 316.3 million rials (about USD7,530) in the mentioned period.

    In the said time span, the average housing price rose by 18.4 percent compared to the previous year same period.

    Also, the number of real estate deals dropped 29.8 percent in the said month to stand at 5,500 deals, as the figure dropped 36.8 percent in comparison to the previous year same time span.
