Recruitment, income in UAE to rise next year

(MENAFN) According to a report by Mercer, UAE employers are getting ready to go on a recruitment spree next year and increase incomes by an average 3.6 per cent as need for occupations rise amidst the Emirates economic recovery after Coronavirus pandemic.

Based on Mercer’s 2021 Total Remuneration Survey on Saturday, attracting and retaining employees is going to also need a better attention on flexible working strategies such as cross or remote working.

Mercer surveyed 599 UAE firms over a variety of industries, involving manufacturing, retail and wholesale, technology, chemicals, consumer goods, life sciences as well as energy.

Career department associate for the Mena region at Mercer, Andrew El Zein said “signs of growth abound and are evident in the increased hiring activity that we have seen in 2021 and the positive forecast for 2022.”
