Dubai Airports increases traveler traffic prediction to 28.7 million

(MENAFN) Dubai's airport operator upgraded its prediction for yearly traveler traffic this present year by an extra two million, predicting the flow of passengers at Dubai International Airport (DXB) is going to hit 28.7 million as travel constraints in major markets begin to improve.

On Monday, Dubai Airports reported that as a result of a growth in travel demand, Dubai International Airport is going to its Concourse A again before the end of November, which is going to bring the airport to full volume after 20 months of lessened processes because of Coronavirus pandemic.

Chief executive of Dubai Airports, Paul Griffiths, stated "significant market developments such as the UK’s vaccination-based travel programme, the resumption of flights to several important destinations in Australasia and the relaxation of restrictions for travel between India and the USA have all contributed to an upward revision in our forecast for the year by an additional two million passengers to 28.7 million.”
