Dubai reveals incentive plan to support IPOs

(MENAFN) The Dubai Financial Market revealed an inducements plan to promote new initial public offerings (IPOs) and listings from private sector firms in important economic industries that supply the nation's gross domestic product.

The DFM reported on a statement on Tuesday that the incentives involve financial aid to the price of private firms’ IPOs on the DFM’s Main Market and listing on the Second Market, post-listing aid via involvement in its global roadshows locally and internationally, and a three-year agreement on listing fees, AGM fees as well as dividend distribution fees.

Chief executive of DFM and Nasdaq Dubai, Hamed Ali stated “Dubai is home to an unparalleled portfolio of regional and international private companies. Attracting new IPOs will provide DFM’s global network of investors from over 208 nationalities with new investment opportunities.”
