    Biggest solar panel factory in MENA region to open in Tabuk

    (MENAFN) According to SPA reports, on Wednesday, Saudi Arabia initiated the biggest factory for solar panels manufacturing in the MENA region, specifically in Tabuk Industrial City, with investments worth of SR700 million (USD186.6 million).

    The factory is positioned on an overall zone of over 27,000 square meters, with a predicted output capacity of 1.2 gigawatts.

    The new Tabuk service employs mechanical equipment for its output, and implements the newest international technologies in the sector.

    Osama Al-Zamil, deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources reported it is positioned in a strategic place close to the country’s giga projects in NEOM and the Red Sea, and the zone also has lots of experienced citizens to work in the several occupations required by the facility.
