Saudi crude exports increase for fifth consecutive month

(MENAFN) Based on official data published on Jodi Data Initiatives Organization's site, the kingdom crude oil exports rose in September for the fifth consecutive month.

The data demonstrated, the country exported 6.52 million barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil, rising up by one percent when compared August and 8 percent from last year.

Saudi exports growth comes as a result of better demand and steady facilitation of self-forced constrains under a production-curtailing contract with OPEC+.

Between April and September of 2021, the crude oil exports jumped by almost 15 percent.

The data also showed that September overall crude oil and oil product exports from nation’s stations hit 7.84 million bpd.
