    New companies to open in turkey increases up by 6.6 annually

    (MENAFN) On Friday, Turkey’s top trade body stated that the amount of newly created firms in Turkey increased by 6.6 percent annually during the first ten months of 2021.

    Based on data published by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), around 89,729 firms were listed between January and October 2021, up from 84,172 during the same time span of last year.

    Throughout this time, 10,872 firms went bankrupt, a figure dropped by 3.1 percent in comparison to the corresponding time frame a year ago.

    TOBB stated that 9,336 firms began conducting business in the country in October, down 9 percent on yearly basis.

    During the previous month, there were 1,499 initiatives that went bankrupt, up 18.9 percent annually.
