    Banque Cantonale de Genève CEO optimistic on economic development in Middle east

    (MENAFN) According to Banque Cantonale de Genève, a bank located in Switzerland, chief executive, the bank is optimistic of steady development in the Middle East for the upcoming five years in spite of the international economic doubt caused by Coronavirus pandemic. The 200-plus-year-old bank is not aiming at rapid development in the area as it follows a conventional method to investment.

    CEO, Blaise Goetschin reported to the national, “we were very happy with client growth in the past five years in the region.”

    “I don’t expect an explosion in growth but rather a gradual improvement in the three business lines we focus on.”

    The mid-sized bank conducts its business in trade finance, correspondent banking as well as private banking. It has a branch office in Dubai since 2010 and another in Hong Kong to attract customers in Asia.
