    Iran’s inflation rate drops by 1 percent

    (MENAFN) The Statistical Center of Iran (SCI) has set the normal inflation rate at 44.4 percent during a time span of an entire year that ended on October 22, which is the end of the eighth Iranian calendar month Aban, dropping one percent from the twelve-month time frame figure which ended to the seventh Iranian month.

    SCI has set the nation’s point-to-point inflation rate at 35.7 percent during the eighth month of this current Iranian calendar year, which indicates that families have spent a total of 35.7 percent more for buying the same set of supplies and facilities during the mentioned month, in comparison to the corresponding month last year.

    The point-to-point inflation rate has also fell by 3.5 percent when compared to the number of the previous month.

    The point-to-point inflation rate for houses in the city was recorded to be 35.3 percent, which is 3.1 percent lower than the number of last month. The figure was 37.4 percent for houses in the countryside, with 6.5 percent fall from the number of the past month.
