Counterparts of Iran, Belarus talk about ways to grow agricultural relations

(MENAFN) Javad Sadati-Nejad, Agriculture Minister of Iran and Dmitry Koltsov Ambassador of Belarus to Tehran, discussed different methods for the growth of agricultural collaboration during a conference between both sides that took place on Sunday evening.

During the gathering, Iran’s minister emphasized that through their shared abilities, Iran and Belarus can collaborate and work with each other in the Eurasian area.

Satadi-Nejad said while stating the effects of the restrictions that, “Iran can use the capacity of fisheries, agriculture, agricultural inputs and agricultural equipment and machinery of Belarus; Iranian farmers were satisfied with the quality of Belarusian potash fertilizer, but under the conditions of sanctions, the import of this fertilizer to Iran was stopped.”

The minister mentioned that the restrictions made it difficult for Iran to fulfill its demands in the sector of heavy tractors, and voiced anticipation that these issues would be fixed by improving ties.
