    Inflation in Iran to decrease by next Iranian calendar year

    (MENAFN) Based on a statement by head of Iran’s Budget and Planning and Budget Organization (PBO), taking into account the latest data collected by the Statistical Center of Iran (SCI) the inflation is predicted to decrease in the upcoming Iranian calendar year (starts in March 2022).

    On Wednesday, Masoud Mir-Kazemi stated “no Money creation has taken place in the last three months, and a recent report by the Statistics Center of Iran shows that inflation is declining, these are indications that the inflation could be curbed by the next year.”

    The PBO head reported while citing the present economic issues, "the problem of people today is livelihood, business situation, household income, and inflation, and solving problems in these areas is one of the tasks of the Planning and Budget Organization. Over the three-month, since the 13th government took office, PBO’s priority has been economic stability to restore confidence in the economy.”

    SCI, in its recent report issued on November 23, had put the normal inflation rate in a one-year time period which ended on October 22, that also indicates the end of the eighth Iranian calendar month Aban, at 44.4 percent, dropping one percent from the number for the time frame of twelve months ended to the seventh Iranian month.
