    Hotels in Dubai register 16.8 increase regarding occupancy rate

    (MENAFN) Dubai hotels registered a 16.8 per cent increase in occupancy during the period from January till October of 2021 as the UAE’s tourism industry carries on rebounding from the Covid-19 pandemic.

    Based on a report from global consultancy CBRE, the regular daily rate and profit for each available room (RevPar) in Dubai jumped 14.9 per cent and 57.1 per cent, correspondingly, during the mentioned period.

    RevPar is a main performance metric evaluated by multiplying a hotel’s regular daily room rate by its occupancy rate. In the meantime, hotel occupancy all over the Emirates, soared 13.6 per cent in the mentioned time span with RevPar rising by 44.9 per cent, as per the CBRE estimates.

    The report also stated, “in October 2021, with the commencement of Expo 2020 and increasing levels of international visitation, we have seen a significant uplift in KPIs in the UAE.”
