    Yearly inflation rate of Turkey stands at 21.31 percent

    (MENAFN) According to the Turkish statistical authority statement on Friday, the country registered a 21.31 percent yearly increase in customer prices during November.

    Based on the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), Yearly inflation jumped 1.42 percentage points the previous month, increasing from 19.89 percent in October.

    TurkStat data also stated that the sharpest price surge on an annual basis was viewed in hotels, cafes, and restaurants with 28.90 percent the previous month.

    The institution also mentioned that it was followed by food and non-alcoholic drinks with 27.11 percent and furnishings and home appliances with 25.14 percent. The lowest yearly growth was 5.77 percent in communication.

    An Anadolu Agency study discovered on Monday that a group of 24 economists predicted an average yearly increase of 20.57 percent in customer prices this November.
