UAE’s global trade close to hit new level-high

(MENAFN) The Emirate’s non-oil international commerce for the entirety of the present year is estimated to reach a greater development rate than the speed recorded in the period January-June after a powerful international revival from Coronavirus during the second six months of the year.

Fitch Solutions’ commerce specialists predict the Emirate’s present account excess to grow from 5.8 percent of GDP last year to 7.7 percent of GDP this year and 7.9 percent of GDP next year.

The specialists stated, the robust estimate came from their predictions for a slow revival in the exporting of products and services, as Expo 2020 Dubai leads a development in the industry of tourism.

Nations Conference on Trade and Development (Unctad) reported, “The positive trend for international trade in 2021 is largely the result of the strong recovery in demand due to subsiding pandemic restrictions, economic stimulus packages and increases in commodity prices.”
