    Iran aims to enhance trade with Iraq to USD20bn

    (MENAFN) According to Mehr News Agency, chairman of Iran-Iraq Joint Chamber of Commerce has stated that Iran is aiming to enhance its yearly trade with bordering Iraq to USD20 billion.

    Yahya Al-e Eshagh, uttered those comments during a business meeting between Iran and Iraq’s Kirkuk province, stating that Iranian and Iraqi governments are willing to advance national collaboration in all fields.

    The official noted, “despite all events that are happening in the region, the relationship between the two countries of Iran and Iraq are on the upward trajectory.”

    He also mentioned that the present government of Iran under President Raeisi has demonstrated huge interest in increasing and boosting trade as well as economic relations with adjacent countries.
