    Expectations for KSA to register USD7.19b surplus for 2023

    (MENAFN) According to the Saudi finance minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan statement in a press conference after the cabinet's approval of financial budget for next year, the Kingdom is predicted to register a surplus of SR27 billion (about USD7.19) in 2023 and SR42 billion (about USD11.19) in 2024.

    He stated that the country anticipates profits to hit SR968 billion (about USD258.03) during 2023 while it is going to increase to SR992 billion (about USD264.4).

    He also mentioned during his presentation that while Saudi Arabia's profits are predicted to be below 2022 levels, it views expenditure to be less than the levels declared for the upcoming year.

    Expenditure for the upcoming year to be SR941 billion (about USD250.8) and it is going to reach SR951 billion (about USD253.4) in the following year.
