    Iran’s heavy crude oil records 42.1 percent increase

    (MENAFN) Based on OPEC’s latest monthly report for the year issued on Monday, Iran’s median heavy crude oil price has jumped to USD29.34 during this year to record a 42.1-percent increase in comparison to last year.

    The report stated, after the lessening of coronavirus effects in several nations and the pick-up in oil demand in the markets in this present year, the median Iranian heavy crude oil price soared to USD69.32 for each barrel during 2021, versus USD39.98 of last year.

    Based on the provided data, the nation’s heavy crude price stood at USD80.5 during November, decreasing by USD2.07 from USD82.14 the month that precedes it.

    The report set Iranian crude production for the previous month at 2.474 million barrels per day (bpd) marking a 9,000-bpd drop in comparison to the figure for last month.
