    Gilan province in Iran exports increases by 35 percent

    (MENAFN) According to an Iranian provincial official announcement, the exports worth from Gilan province located in the north of Iran, increased 35 percent during the period from March 21 till November 21 of the present Iranian calendar year, in comparison to the corresponding time span of the previous year.

    According to Farhad Dalq-Poush, the head of the province’s Industry, Mining, and Trade Department statement 704,000 tons of goods that value USD412.46 million were exported from the region during the mentioned time period, also marking a 11 percent increase regarding weight.

    The official counted Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Georgia, and Ukraine as the major export locations of the goods.

    Based on the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the worth of Iran’s non-oil trade increased 40 percent during the period from March 21 till October 21 of the present Iranian calendar year, versus the same time frame of last year.
