    Turkish real estate sales increases to 59 percent during November

    (MENAFN) According to the Turkish statistical authority statement on Tuesday, housing real estate sales in the country rose 59 percent on a yearly basis during November.

    Based on the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), a number of 178,814 residences were sold in the previous month.

    Residential sales to overseas purchasers also increased during the same time span, jumping by 48.4 percent to 7,363 entities. Moreover, the institute also highlighted that "house sales to foreigners had 4.1 percent share of all house sales,".

    Among external buyers, Iranians purchases the most residences for 1,406 houses, the Iraqis by 1,075 and Russians 836. Moreover, in the first 11 months, about 1.26 million housing properties were sold in the country, dropping by 9.2 percent from the mentioned period of last year.
