    Saudi Arabia expects expenditure on renewable energy schemes to reach USD293b

    (MENAFN) Based on a presentation from Saudi Arabia’s energy ministry, the Kingdom predicts expenditure on power and renewable energy schemes to reach SR1.1 trillion (USD293 billion) until the year 2030.

    The presentation that was delivered on Monday by the energy minister during the Saudi budget forum in Saudi capital demonstrated that the nation expects most of the expenditure being spent in power transmission schemes with SR430 billion (about USD114.5b).

    The Saudi energy minister stated that the country arranges SR142 billion (about USD37.8) in energy distribution through 2030. Prince Abdulaziz stated that the country aims to make investment worth of SR380 billion (about USD101.2) in renewable power schemes by 2030.

    But, the energy minister declared that the natural gas substructure that involve pipelines is going to be possessed by the nation.
