    Iran’s residence prices jump 1.8 percent in its capital

    (MENAFN) Based on a report by the Central Bank of Iran (CBI), median residence price surged 1.8 percent in the capital Tehran in the ninth Iranian calendar month of Azar (ended on December 21), in comparison to the preceding month.

    IRIB stated that according to the CBI data, the median price for one square meter of a housing entity in Tehran amounted at 325.9 million rials (about USD1,123) throughout the said month.

    The median residence price during the mentioned month also jumped 21.1 percent versus the
    corresponding month in the past fiscal year.

    Though, the number of property contracts amounted at 9,800 in the capital city in the ninth month of this year, climbing 33.8 percent and 282.5 percent, from the last month, and the corresponding month of the previous year, in that order.
