    Expectations for Dubai Duty Free to hit USD1.4B in sales this year

    (MENAFN) Dubai Duty Free predictions for yearly sales are going to jump 40 per cent to Dh5.1 billion (USD1.4bn) during this year and it aims to summon more of its workers that were sacked during the coronavirus pandemic as passenger traffic in the most hectic intercontinental airport of the world starts to recover.

    According to Colm McLoughlin, executive vice chairman and chief executive of Dubai Duty Free statement to a news agency, an inflow of Russian, Saudi Arabian and Israeli o0assengers who squander money are going to aid in increasing sales in 2022, with total median expenditures for one passenger to surpass its levels before the pandemic.

    Mr McLoughlin stated during an interview at the firm's headquarters, "for this year, we've budgeted for sales of Dh5.1bn and we're confident about it and we expect to achieve it."
