    Overseas investment in Iran increases by almost 90 percent

    (MENAFN) The Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade has given the approval to 102 external investment schemes that are worth around USD2.804 billion during the first three quarters of the present Iranian calendar year (March 21-Decemebr 21, 2021), which shows 89.8 percent increase in comparison to the corresponding time span of the previous year.

    The data published by the ministry states that 104 international investment schemes worth about USD1.477 billion had been agreed on in the first three quarters of the previous year.

    Overseas investment that are officially approved comprises of all applications, involves investment to initiate new schemes, acquisition of stakes of existing firms, along with external investment in the shape of contractual agreements.
