    Dubai Expo 2020 speeds up UAE’s aviation, tourism, hotel sectors rebound

    (MENAFN) Expo 2020 has speeded up the rebound of the UAE's tourism, aviation as well as hospitality sectors from Covid-19, aided by the nation's efficient management of coronavirus and by facilitating travel constraints internationally.

    Based on Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Emirates group chairman and chief executive statement to a news agency, Emirates, Dubai's flag carrier, registered excellent seat load factors and robust travel demand to the country all over its network during Expo.

    He stated, "this is due to a combination of factors, including the UAE’s successful management of Covid-19, which was critical to many countries quickly easing travel restrictions to and from Dubai and building traveler confidence."

    And added, "interestingly, Emirates has noted an increase in first-time visitors to Dubai among our customers during the past months, which shows the pull of Expo 2020 and strong traveller interest in Dubai."
