Iran increases crude oil selling costs for Asian dealers

(MENAFN) According to Shana, National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) has raised its crude oil selling costs (OSPs) for Asian purchasers in May amidst an international increase in oil costs.

As stated, NIOC’s official selling costs impacted three grades of Iranian oil mainly Light, Heavy, and Forouzan.

The NIOC had put the May OSP of Iranian Light grade for Asia at USD9.2 a barrel higher than the Oman/Dubai median, whereas the costs for Iranian Heavy and Forouzan grades are also fixed to be USD7.95 and USD8.05 higher than the Oman/Dubai median, correspondingly.

The costs are released after an increase in global oil costs during the latest weeks that has been affected by a facilitation of Covid-19 constraints all over the globe as well as by a military war in Ukraine.
