Etihad Airways prepares to welcome 2.7 million passengers throughout summer
(MENAFN) Etihad Airways and Abu Dhabi International Airport have prepared resources and are all set to receive 2.7 million network passengers throughout the summer period, following an increase in request for international travel.
More than 1.4 million passengers are going to fly out from Abu Dhabi International Airport, counting in 330,000 local joiners, with over 1100 weekly network-wide departures.
Mohammad Al Bulooki, head Operating Officer, Etihad Aviation Group, stated that “As travel rebounds from the impact of the global pandemic, Etihad has witnessed a vast increase in bookings over recent weeks”
Adding "With summer holidays upon us and to manage the increase in passenger numbers, Etihad has bolstered operations both locally and across our global network to ensure guests enjoy a seamless airport and flight experience.”
Highly, visitors are retold to check-in online, use the Verified to Fly service to submit any Covid-associated travel documents for previous approval, and reach at the airport early.
