    Israel, Turkey develop financial relations

    (MENAFN) Israel stated that it is going to reopen its fincial and trade office in Turkey next month as ties started to develop among the two nations.

    Israeli Economy Minister Orna Barbivai stated in an announcement “The reopening of the economic attaché reflects Israel’s commitment to deepening economic ties with Turkey.”

    She also stated that “We intend to soon promote a joint economic conference between the countries, after more than a decade.”

    Ohad Cohen, chief of the Foreign Trade Section at the Ministry of Economy, stated that Turkey is “a significant economy” for Israel’s foreign exchange.

    He stated that “Today’s exports to Türkiye are concentrated and there is great potential for expansion. The potential inherent in the cooperation, for the benefit of the two countries.”

    Tel Aviv with Ankara started to take actions to develop their ties fractured after Israeli forces invaded a Gaza-bound flotilla holding caring aid for Palestinians that broke aa years-long Israeli blockade on the Palestinian territory.

    The event caused in the deaths of nine Turkish activists.
