Jordanian delegation visits Saudi Arabia to discuss ways to expand economic relations
(MENAFN) Jordan and Saudi Arabia are going to talk about methods to grow financial ties and establish mutual industrial cooperation throughout a Jordanian delegation’s trip that begun on Saturday.
The delegation, ruled by Amman Chamber of Industry head Fathi Jaghbir, involves officials of industrial firms functioning in a range of manufacture sectors.
The trip has been arranged by the ACI, and is going to involve Jeddah, Makkah as well as Madinah, as reported by Jordan’s News Agency on Saturday.
In an announcement, the ACI mentioned that the delegation’s weeklong trip is going to involve the Makkah Expo for Hotels and Restaurants, which is set to launch on Tuesday.
Jaghbir underlined the need of reinforcing Jordanian-Saudi financial ties and surging trade exchanges, which amounted to USD4.2 billion two years ago (2021), in light of the “distinguished, brotherly” two sided ties in numerous sectors.
“The visit comes as a continuation of the previous successful visit last year, which saw joint business meetings with Saudi businesspeople in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Makkah, during which memoranda of understanding and cooperation were signed between Jordan and Amman chambers of industry and commerce chambers in these Saudi cities,” Jaghbir added.
