Turkish Technic Achieves Record High Revenue in 2022 with 37 percent Increase
(MENAFN) Turkish Technic, the maintenance, repair, and overhaul subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, achieved an all-time high revenue in 2022, according to its financial results statement released on Tuesday. The company saw a record high annual increase of 37 percent in revenues, reaching USD1.42 billion last year, while its market share grew to 1.9 percent in 2022. Ahmet Bolat, Turkish Technic's chair, described the company's achievement as remarkable, closing 2022 with USD1.42 billion in revenue and USD119 million in operational profit.
In 2022, Turkish Technic added new services to its portfolio, which included completing base maintenance operations for Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A350 aircraft for the first time. It also carried out its first Boeing 777-300ER landing gear overhaul. The company expanded its maintenance-repair capabilities and the range of services by adding some 1,193 aircraft parts to its capability in 2022.
In addition to its new services, Turkish Technic provided base maintenance services to 649 aircraft, completed overhaul operations of 221 landing gears, and serviced over 119,000 components last year. The company's success can be attributed to its continued growth and investment in the latest technologies and services.
Turkish Technic's achievement in 2022 is a reflection of the company's commitment to providing high-quality services to its clients. The company's expansion of its maintenance-repair capabilities and the range of services have enabled it to meet the growing demand for aircraft maintenance services. The addition of new services to its portfolio and the completion of base maintenance operations for Boeing and Airbus aircraft have further strengthened the company's position in the industry.
The success of Turkish Technic in 2022 is a positive sign for the Turkish aviation industry, which has been hit hard by the pandemic. The company's achievement shows that there is still demand for aircraft maintenance services, and Turkish Technic is well-positioned to take advantage of this demand. The company's commitment to investing in new technologies and services is expected to drive its growth in the coming years.
