Qatar's Commercial Bank secures syndication deal at USD750m
(MENAFN) The Commercial Bank of Qatar was able to achieve a syndicated Senior Unsecured Term Loan Facility at a value of USD750 million, expiring in three years.
The preliminary worth of the syndication was confirmed to have been set at USD750 million, with the deal attracting interest from the market, oversubscribed at USD975 million.
The deal is a reflection of a strong investor confidence in the financial activities of the Qatari bank, along with the outstanding economy of the country.
"The oversubscription by over 25 percent and the top name banks as lead participants in the syndication shows the confidence of the international banking and investor community in the strength of Qatar's banking system," stated CEO Joseph Abraham.
