UAE, KSA, Oman in talks over connected gas network
(MENAFN) The UAE is in talks with Saudi Arabia and Oman over the establishment of a Gulf natural gas network through incorporating gas pipelines belonging to the three Gulf states.
Such a plan will be implementing under a model of the Gulf power grid linkage, confirmed the UAE's minister of energy and industry Suhail Al Mazroui as reported WAM.
According to the minister, the linked network will be covering nations such as Kuwait and Bahrain, as the three countries look to boost GCC energy sufficiency.
On a side noted, Al Mazroui added, the UAE is mulling over further projects on linkage with Egypt, Jordan and Iraq.
