Qatar eyes natural gas listing in GST
(MENAFN) Qatar is making efforts to list natural gas in GST, aiming to attract demand for green fuel as well as hike its share in the energy domain.
Qatar Gas CEO Khalid Bin Khalifa Al-Thani confirmed the country to have made the appeal to the Central government.
India was hailed by the CEO during Petrotech conference as a significant market for Qatar when it comes to various fields.
The official affirmed that "if there is change in demand worldwide we will see it in India especially in fossile fuel."
Al-Thani stressed that "LNG should be considered to get full benefits of GST," adding: "we would be working closely with the government."
