UAE, Angola step up efforts for trade balance
(MENAFN) Looking to achieve balanced trade between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Angola, an action plan was introduced by the Angola/United Arab Emirates Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIA-UAE).
Under the action plan, Angolan exports to the UAE will be encouraged, especially in agricultural products, wood, marble and granite.
Direct investments will also be targeted during the anticipated 2020 World Expo that Dubai is hosting, with Angolan goods likely to be showcased, as head of the CCIA-UAE Vando Matias confirmed.
Last month, the two countries secured a couple of agreements in relation to close and stronger cooperation on agricultural growth.
