Dubai celebrates weddings amid Covid-19
(MENAFN) Starting from the 22nd of October 2020, wedding parties will be allowed in Dubai, based on a decision made by The Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management, and they can be held in hotels, homes, halls, tents or temporary locations in residential sections.
Even though the Committee granted the society the opportunity to celebrate social occasions, but they must adhere to severe healthcare regulations, and any preventative measures asked by the hosting institution.
The Committee highlighted the urgency of sticking to the regulations, and preventative measures posted, in an official declaration that reminded the people of the significance of health and safety procedures pronounced previously.
The main purpose of procedures is protecting the well-being of the public and making sure to minimize contact with the Covid-19 virus amongst the guests, as much as possible.
A key guideline is the number of people allowed to attend, which are no more than 200 people in halls, and no more than 30 people in tents and houses, while meeting the one person per four square meters rule applied in all venues.
